Re-attached Origin Point

I generated a new part from an existing part along with it's idw. Then used 'replace model reference' in the new idw file to update the drawing views. Everytime I do this the ordinate origin point in a view turns magenta in color and 'design doctor' shows I have to re-attached the point. Problem is it still shows that the point needs to be re-attached no matter what I do. It is snapped correctly and dimensions are accurate.

 

Also, being able to delete the origin point would be nice. Maybe 2013 Inventor?
