R8 save problem

I am getting the following error while trying to save a drawing file. I
have both the assembly and the idw open and am in the process of doing a
revision. This assembly was originally created in R7. Note that the
migration utility was not run, I usually just open files and save to update
to the new version.

Any suggestions? I've been running R8 for about a week and have had a few
crashes. Mostly when using the undo command excessively (which I didn't
have a problem with in R7). Crash frequency seems to be on the order of 2-3
a day.
