"Patch Error" in communication center

Hello,

I have the phrase "patch error" in my live update section of the communication center for a long time.  I do not know what the cause is nor how to fix this.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

The patch error is shown when a download is interrupted or prevented. There are a number of reason that could account for this. One would be your own Firewall setting. Another possible reason is your user permission. Some (very few) downloads may need Administrator or Power user settings. If these are not available then it would complete the install.
One thing to narrow this down would be if you have a known download you need but has been interrupted. Go out to our web site and physically download the hotfix, update or service pack needed. Once Download the Firewall option could be put aside. Then try installing the hotfix, update or service pack and see what the results is.

Unfortunately, I have only downloaded service pack 1 and like you mentioned I went to the download page on the website to get it.

Let me re-phrase that, I downloaded and installed service pack 1

To see if I could fix this, I re-installed inventor.  Unfortunately, it did not help.
