"Inventor Not Responding"

This is a regular message when my (very New high end DELL M6800) "Not Responding" I had to buy this new hardware due to my (old) computer did the same.
My Iventor (From 2014-2015) version does frequently hang and the only way is to restart the session. This should be other than video card type or update ?!

Thanks if you could help.

Standard fare, make sure that Windows is current on all it's updates, Inventor is current with all is't Service Packs and Updates and you are running the most current Microsoft certified graphics card for your machine. Dell typically ships very old graphics card drivers when they assemble the machines.

When you installed the software, you were logged in with Administrative Privileges and the UAC slider was set to it's lowest position.

Thank kyou Blair, after instaling Nvidia driver's Dec. edition my screen looks better and I am confident it would work better from now on.

I need to attend to my Slider?!

Cheers

With that latest release of IV2015, the need for setting the UAC is not as critical as will earlier versions. If you were logged in with an Admin account you should be fine. If anomalies show up within Inventor you may need to re-register Inventor.

Make sure that you have all the SP's and Updates installed.
