Purchasing BOM, Parts List Question

I am looking into way to make a purchasing BOM which would be different than a standard parts list.  I would like for Inventor to generate this for me.  A normal parts list may include 4 line items of 1 x 1 x 1/8" angle at different lengths.  What I would like to do is combine that 1 x 1 x 1/8" angle into 1 line item with a total length quantity.  This would be so that I could send this out to the parts dept and they could order X number of sticks of 1 x 1 x 1/8" angle.  The issue is we have a part numbering system in place so I don't want to change the part numbers just to make the rows merge up.  See the attached screenshot for more info on what i'm refering to.  I know I could export this to excel and finish it up there but it would save some time if there was a way to get inventor to do it automatically.  Any ideas?
