Hello
Our company got an fully automatic Pullmax 5000 punch press and I work in Inventor generating sheet metal flat paterns.
Curent JetCam NC program only read DXF so we have to manualy generate these files.
This is a problem since it is very easy to work with wrong drawing
Do anyone know if there is a good Nesting program that handle IDW or IPT files directly?
I found Striker CAD/CAM on the internet.
Anyone with experiance?
JETCAM reads both DWG and IPT files. Both Free CAD translators are available at the JETCAM Download Site. For a user login and password contact support@nestonesolutions.com
Or Radan
The best out there is Sigma Nest. It reads the whole assembly picks out the parts that can be punched or laser cut. Will nest like you never seen before. Unfolds the sheet metal does it all..
Only thing you need is money very expensive. Around $14,000 to $20,000
