punch error

Hi,

 

Trying to make a punch but get an error.I have the punch modelled to the shape but i keep getting this error.

Inventor 2012

Punch tool sketches must be created on a part face (or on a worklplane created from part face geometry).

Cannot use the Origin planes.

 

You don't want the punch to have any dependencies other than the sketch point and sketch face of the source for locating the feature on the destination part.

 

Turn off autoproject edges and be careful about an projections you use (try not to use any other than maybe from sketch-to-sketch within the punch.

I tried to save as a Sheet Metal Punch IFeature but no option available.Where may i have got this wrong?
