Publishing to exisisting CC category

I have a question I am trying to publish a reducing TEE to the content center in the Reducing Tees sub-category.  The problem is that there have already been Reducing Tees copied from the standardard into the custom library.  When I go to try to publish this iPart to the Reduced Tees sub-category Inventor will not let me select it.  I can create a new sub-category of the same name but now I have two Reduced Tees category when I go to place it which is not what I want. 

Is there a trick to getting the reduced Tee to go into the right category once standard content has been copied out of it?
