Pros and Cons large assembly: drawing with multiple sheets VS multiple drawings

Hi everyone,

I have a very large assembly (38 Mo, 28661 occurences, 3406 files) which requires 5 sheets in my drawing (172 Mo, 62210 occurences, 3406 files). What would be pros and cons to separate it in 5 drawings?

Thank you,

Pro = smaller drawing size. less chance of loosing it ALL if that single drawing file gets corrupt..

Not many cons other than tracking the files..

CONS: Views will not be linked, ie you can't have section views shown on different DRG's and maintain the relationship between these views and the parent view.

PROS: Faster to update and open the DRG's
