Projected Geometry with automatic FIX constraint

After working as expected my recent attempts at geometry projection result in a black (rather than purlpe) projected line with a FIX constraint. This black/FIX projected geometry does not move with the parent geometry. Geometry previously projected is purple, has no FIX constraint and moves with parent geometry.

The only settings changes I remember making are on the Assembly panel under "In Place Features". I had to turn "Adapt Feature" off as Frame Generator would not mitre sections with this setting on. I now leave this setting on and turn it off when using Frame Generator.

Did you use Project Cut edges by any chance? That is not associative yet in R11.

Did you use the same command to do these two projections.

I'm thinking you need to give us more details. Dataset and steps are ideal. Thanks.

I think I've got to the bottom of it. I was projecting when I should have been deriving/projecting.
