project the part to a sketch in drawing mode. (.idw file)

I can bring part in to a drawing file.  I want to draw a sketch, projecting the lines and curves from the view.  How to do it?

I can draw a sketch, but can't constrain to the current view.

select the view before you click on the create sketch button. Or highlight and the right click on the view and then select new sketch. then you can project the edges of components from the view into the sketch
