Project file config.

I need help on how to config. my project file or point to the location for
dealing with this problem.

I have a home network p2p setup. My desktop PC is used as the main file
storage, but not the server. My laptop is connected thru network and cad
files are synchronized with the Desktop PC using the offline file sharing.
This way I have one set of files always up to date. This is working fine. MD
war running fine.

Now the problem is with the Inventor project file. If I set up project file
on the laptop , Inventor on my PC is confused and will not use this file. I
can not create two files ach with the right directory pass.

On my laptop I use Mapped drive as the cad storage . Or am I doing
something wrong in the Offline file setups?

There should be no problem using one project file for office, and a different one for home, just pointing to different paths.

Or maybe you could map a directory on your home PC (rmb "my computer"-"map network drive" to simulate your work settings.
