Progressive die

I am looking to model a simple progressive die, but quickly found that's an
oxymoron! Does anyone have an example they could share that would get me
started? I checked the usual sources (ICF, cbliss, sdotson, Kent's site)
with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

I believe OLE has some screen shots or something. I don't have his address handy, but I
imagine a search would find it.

I posted a example a long time ago(probably purged by now) of doing it by starting with
the flat shape, with the first cuts, then deriving that and making the next cuts or bends.
Keep doing this until the piece is done. Then bring them all into a assembly and mate
them up. Finally derive that into a single part file.

I did see your post, Kent, but the file in CF seems to have been purged. I
went to Ole's site before and that's when I decided this was not a simple
task. Thanks guys.

Garney,

I'd definitely like to take a look. If the
files are small enough, you can zip them up and post to iCF (see below). If
their too large, you can email me and I'll give you the link to our ftp
site.

I posted the die in the customer files area. This is a die we built about a year ago. The model was never completly finished, it's lacking a french stop, scrap chopper and some fasteners. Any questions let me know.
