PLant 3D Spec Editor Engagement Length Trouble - 90deg elbow

I am new to using spec editor and I am having a bit of trouble with setting up a particular elbow for a project. I inserted the picture below. The elbow is correct, but I inputted the engagement length and these pipes are supposed to be connected. What am I missing here? elbow.JPG
