Physcis Simulations

I need to simulate collisions between many different interacting parts (on the order of 10,000). I know that Inventor is not designed for this purpose but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the software to do this. Is there any software out there that can do this with an Autodesk Inventor type interface (for someone who is technically inclined but not an advanced programmer) ?? Does Autodesk offer this type of software?

Thanks!

Preston

Blender is free and has a physics engine I don't know about 10000 parts though.

for free it might be worth a try. Edited by: raymondlee306 on Jun 17, 2009 8:13 PM

Check out the attached, but for 10000 parts, you're gonna need a decent PC.

Besides, it includes an add on for inventor for assemblies and constraints translation.
