PDF fails when changing layer name

Hi there,

if I rename an inventor layer simply by removing the initial bracket of the standard, i.e. renaming "Visible (ISO)" to "Visible ISO)", and then export to PDF, the PDF is invalid. The reader througs an error saying "There was an error processing this page. Ther was a problem reading this document (135)".

Needless to say the drawing must have any geometry with the renamed layer.

Of course the solution would be to put the initial braket back in, however I have thousands of drawings with this issue. So I was wondering if some one knows a "global" solution to this, like changing an application setting or something like that.

Can anyone replicate this situation?

is this a Bug in Inventor?,

does anyone knows how to fix it?

I am using Inventor Professional 2014.
