Hi,
I have tried using pattern in .ipt to populate emboss. (simple text). I did following:
1) created sketch and emboss of text.
2) changed colour of this feature (emboss)
3) Used pattern to populate it
I expected to get pattern of texts with the same colour as the first one. This did not happened. All except first one have inherited colour of the part.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Cris.
It can be done with at least two different ways. See file (2015)

Hi,
Thanks, I have not yet seen the file however I have found workaround my self but that is not the point I wanted to make with this post.
I was rather trying to bring this issue to attention of people from Autodesk. And the issue is that (in my opinion of course) this dose not work properly.
Do you also consider this a bug?
Cris,
ps. sorry for spelling in last post. For some reason spell checking did not work.

Its been like that for as long as I can remember.
Yes I consider it a bug.. (but I'm not Autodesk )
I can't stand it that I am forced to make multiple patterns because of this issue. For example patterning 2 features each with their own apperance. They must be done as 2 patterns because you can't add the multiple appearances to them.
I've been able to recreate the issue and agree that when using the identical option it should include appearance overrides. I've logged with QA. I don't have a time frame for resolution at this time.
Hi,
thanks for registering this.
I hope it will be fixed someday and permanently, not like some other bugs that are fixed and they are present again in next version.
Cris.
