pattern feature

pattern feature should line up correctly at 89.88deg (mirror features lines up at 89.88deg correctly - not used in model but just for this example have included) but picture shows it overshoots slightly.Have i missed something here?

If you dig a little deeper I think you will find that the 49.44 deg. angle from the vertical centerline to the outside edge of  extrusion is actually 49.43900631.

In your Circular Pattern1 dialog box enter 98.87812620444039-9 as the angle.

 

 

Or better yet - let Inventor solve the math

 

Add a reference dimension to Sketch1 (even though Inventor is only showing 2 decimal places in this image - it it keeping track out as many decimal places as it uses internally)

 

Now simply select the reference dimension in the Circular Pattern dialog box.

In this image I typed in the 9°, but I should have picked the original parameter dimension for that as well.

Any changes should update.
