Parts security in Inventor Viewer.

How do I send an assembly to someone who has a viewer and be certain that they cannot then open and investigate it in Inventor?

Depending of security level that you want you can share the Inventor assembly file via DWF.

With free Autodesk Design Review anybody can view, print, and mark up DWF files.

Also you can disable the measure, print and markup tools for higth security.

You may want to look into using Shrinkwrap as well. This will allow your customer/vendor/whoever to be able to use your moel in their own assemblies, but will allow you to remove all of your proprietary information.
