Parts Lists

If I have a sub-assembly in my main assembly and I balloon parts of the sub-assembly, they all have the same "item no."? What am I missing here? It has been a long time since I played with Parts lists.

Thanks

Hi! It is because the PartsList references Structured BOM View (components in subassemblies are wrapped up). You need to enable Part Only BOM VIew on BOM table and create a PartsList based on the View. Then each part will have its own item number within the whole assembly.

Thanks!
