Parts list Information

At work, as do most places, we have two types of parts list, one for single parts and one for assemblies.

I've assumed that Inventor will only allow you to have one form of parts list?

As a 'workaround' I've created a 'Sketched Symbol' as a parts list and linked the required information to some of the model properties. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to access the MASS and ITEM number properties as well as a handful of other model properties that seem to be available for other functions,(i.e creating a parts list).
How can I access these properies of the part.

Parts lists are attached to your standards. Go to Format -> Standards and make a copy of your current standard. In this copy
modify the Parts List format.

You can now use your normal standard to create drawing views and a parts list, then change standard and create another parts list.
