By default Part Number is filled automatically with the name given to a part when saved.
For some reason lots of my parts are missing Part Number. I cant pin point the moment when it happened.
I have been using them in an assembly where BOM had Part Number column removed, but I am not sure it that would be the reason that the value Part Number is gone.
