Part features in the Assembly

How do you create an cut that is a part feature, but it should cut through the assembly level? (I'm not talking about secondary machining features in the assembly itself).
Can someone let me know if this is possible?

my email ID is Sudhir.John@imaginit.ca...

Thanks in advance

Cut through multiple parts but not an assembly feature?

You have to make several cuts. You can align them by projecting geometry
and/or making it adaptive but the cuts have to be individual steps.
