Hi..

I’ve been looking for a way to make my symbols a little more friendly. I need the box around the text re-size itself based on how much text I use. Got any help?

Thanks!!SMART TEXT BOX.png

This method isn't "automatic" but it does allow some relatively easy manual manipulatiom.

Create a text box for your symbol. After entering your text, offset the textbox boundaries and apply a dimension.

Now when you edit the text, simply grab the corner of the textbox and the outline will follow.

The result... granted its still manual....
