Pack and Go issues

Hi,

I'm finishing my first inventor work, haven't payed much attention to where i'm saving things and it has come back to bite me.

I have an assembly made from a host of sub assemblies saved in variious locations - predominatnly my C: but also in my network at work.

I want to finish it off on my home PC, and get this message when i click 'pack and go'.

Hi,

if you proceed in operation, within the Pack and Go you will have the Search Now button to find components.

Question before pack and go: When you open the Master Assembly, you got any Resolve Link dialog box?

Joe,

All that message means is that you have some files that are outside of your project working folder.

When you setup the master project file it has a base folder in which all files sould be working out of.

You can have sub-folders with in it, but as soon as you go outsode of that folder is when this message appears.

If you move those files back in you might have to redirect where they are within your assembly, but after that to do a pack and go you should be all set.
