Overmold plastic part

Hi

Do anyone have experience how to build good overmold plastic parts also named 2K? Links to turtorial, examples would be great.

Do you have Inventor Professional?

 

I would model as multi-body solids and push out the parts or as Derived Components.

Then in the Inventor Tooling environment use one of the parts as core.

Yes, I run Professional.
I tried to build up multipart with help of thicken-command. I create a surface as a split-surface so I hope I am on the right way.
I suppose all radie should be attached as soon as possible since they allway create problems? So I create radie in the new derived part?
