I am running Inventor Professional 2011 and I have horizantal ordinate dimension, and what I need is to have Text above the Dim line and dimensions beneath it.

For example like this

XXXX

---------------------

DIM

Right now I have them like this

XXXX_________

DIM

Is this even possible? Any help is appreciated, Thank You

If you could post an example of what you have, it would be helpful.

I played around with the dimesion style, I don't think you can do what you want.

Closest I could come by using underlined text above the <<DIM>>
