open gl setting on quadro 4 cards

open gl setting on quadro 4 cards

since Inventor is not on the program lists on these cards, out of curiousity
what setting are you guys using? default? autocad...?

Isn't that a kick in the teeth?
I use the sw setting as well. Since the Nvidia cards and drivers are
on the approved list, which should help Nvidia sell more cards (not
that they need help in that area) shouldn't Autodesk be able to 'urge'
Nvidia to add an "Inventor" setting?
Eventhough it would be a settings that are probably the same as sw?

I'm just using the default - ie: nothing is selected.
What will change in operation if I select something else?

It should perform better in IV. With the 4345 drivers you HAD/HAVE to have SW
selected as App. or else you would get these weird ghost lines in IV.

I've never used SW or any other software selected in this setting and have
never had a problem (except for R6sp0).
