Open AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT .dwg in Inventor/Inventor LT

Hello,

I created drawings in AutoCAD and now want to edit in Inventor LT/Pro.

But all the tools are disabled when .dwg opened in Inventor LT/Pro.

please find attached screenshot.

we can create .dwg in inventor but cannot edit AutoCAD .dwg in inventor?

You are in the wrong environment.

Click Options when opening the dwg and select Import.

How come the 'options' button is not an option when I try it?

I actually figured it out myself. The 'Files of type' settign was on the wrong setting.
