Oh-ohh Adaptive sub error in R6?

I can make this work in 5.3 but not in 6 can someone else please try.

I have an assm of a hyd cyl that I drop into an assm. Constrain it into
place and make it adaptive so I can drive the constraint on the piston to
make the cyl assm move another assm (non adaptive) That part works fine. Now
I drop in another copy of the same cyl, BEFORE I place any Assm constraints
if I drive the other assem the piston comes out just like it should. But If
I assm just ONE end of the new cyl onto anything then try to drive the other
piston I can a connot solve at or near this location error.

Basically in 5.3 I could (and did all the time) use the same cyl many times
in the same assm to drive lots of different bits but I cant seem to in 5.3

I had a similar error today. I had 2 instances of a sub - one being
adaptive.I constrained both of them fine until the adaptivity had to come
into play. Crash after crash. I finally ended up deleting the constraints
on the adaptive sub, and fully constraining the non-adaptive sub(it adapted
the way I intended the other to adapt??!!?). I tried to reconstrain the
other - and poof crash. I turned off adaptivity on the one sub and
constrained it the way it should have to start with. I didn't need the subs
to move, I just needed them to line them selves up for constraints. Go
figure.

That seems to be the case. See "Can driven constraints be applied
symmetrically?" from a few days back.

Brian,

You can try SP1 first. If it still does not work, please send me the data set including steps to reproduce this problem.
