Whenever I place the obround it never ends up the right length. I'll set it
at .04"x1" long and it turns out .04"x1.5" , so far it is always too long.
The dimensions it leaves when you place the hole says .04"x1" but the
leader on the dim doesn't extent the full length of the hole. Any ideas how
to fix this? Thanks.
yep, had the same problem. Had to finally go and make my own punch tool to make it work right. Aparently the stock one likes to sometimes bring one of the arcs around to almost a full circle and try to dimension from it.
The workaround i did was to plac a construction line through the center points of both the arcs to the outside edges and place a coincident constraint on the arcs. Then I told it to use the lenght of the construction line insted of the arc spacing. I can e-mail you the one i created if you like.
