Not owner? File status???

When I saved an assembly, somes of the components cannot be saved. There is a message saying me that I'm not the Owner. I notice that thoses files are "cheked out".

The best part: checked out by me!

How do I remove the checked out? Or telling inventor that I'm the owner...so then I will be able to save again...

I'm sorry, I don't understand!

I read the "help file" but I dont get it?!?!?!?

Can you be more specific?

Thank!

You are using semi-isolated, right??
rmb the file (in the browser pane), and select resolve. Then select "steal checkout" in the dialog box.

I dont know if i'm using semi-isolated???

Wath is a rmb?

Can you bring me a step by step method to do this? This never occur in Inventor R5 or R5.3 and I feel like a rookie in front of this problem!

Thank again...

"I dont know if i'm using semi-isolated?"

Go to your project file and look for "multi-user" towards the bottom. RMB (see below) on it and you get the options of Off, Shared, or Semi-Isolated.

RMB = Right Mouse Button. Means to click on something using the right mouse button.
