No Template Files

I have no template files in Inventor.  Any idea where they are or where I could download them?  I obtained this software through a school license by georgia tech.

Which OS you are using and which version of Inventor you are using?

I am not sure if you can't fine your templates, or they dont exist at all...

The default template locations are defined here:

TOOLS - APPLICATION OPTIONS - FILE (tab) - Default Templates

However the project file (.ipj) can override this...

Open the Projects dialog box...in the lower half, expand FOLDER OPTIONS...here you will see the location of the templates.

OR

the default templates can be found here:

...\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 20xx\Templates

If you don't have any templates in this location...I attached the "standard" (nonmetric) templates that Inventor comes with.

You can always create your own template files and place them in the directory specified in the application options.

These are actually better because they have your personal settings.
