I use the website and cannot see the attachments for either of these IVCF threads. (File too large.)

Full report on "oddities" sent in this morning to the web team. The moderators had kept track of user notes over the holidays plus what we had on our own. Hopefully very soon. I am "assuming" you are speaking of non-synching messages, posts with blank subject lines and posts with RE: but no original post visible? -- Anne Brown Manager, Moderator Autodesk Product Support Discussion Groups Discussion Q&A: http://www.autodesk.com/discussion Sean Dotson wrote: > > Any ETA on when this the NG is going to be back to working 100%?. Not only this. I still can't connect to the server. The problem may very well be in our network (firewall etc.) but the problem started when the change was made. The error reports as "Your 'autodesk.autocad.customer-files' folder was not polled for its unread count. Account: 'discussion.autodesk.com', server(...), Protocol: NNTP, Port: 118, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F". The port setting is not standard 119, but that has to do with our setup, and worked before the change.
Is it possible that any changes at Autodesk requires changes in my settings?

The IP address of the newsgroup server changed. We had to make a change to our firewall to regain our connection. Sam Bixler Eli Lilly and Company, Indianapolis

We've created a page to communicate open issues and any related discussion group announcements. Here's a sneak peek:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=3825712&siteID=123112

We'll be adding a reference/link from the discussion group homepage soon.

Please continue to supply feedback through the form at http://www.autodesk.com/discussion-feedback.

Appreciate your input,

It's actually 10 minutes, and specifically (only?) with Outlook Express. If you're using Outlook Express, you will get a timeout dialog box (even though OE retrieves the data you requested) after 10 minutes. The message implies that it is some behavior of the server that causes the dialog box to appear.

A number of engineers are involved, working very hard to understand exactly what would need to be changed to prevent this from happening, but it is unclear.
