Network license for Inventor Series 10

Hello,

we have one network license for Inventor Series 10. But after the first user runs Inventor and gets the license, license is always issued and no one more can start Inventor (after first user closes Inventor). I have to stop FleXIM and after that it can issue the license for other user. Is there any other solution?

What sort of OS is Flexlm on.

Check the flexlm log.

you could also setup an options file with a timeout built into it.

FleXIm is runing on Windows Server 2003 (Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition).

We have the same problem now and then.
So I made a script that gives all licenses back ones a day.
But still there are days that one license can not be used by others then
the first person using it and that license can stay unused the rest of
the day. 😞
