Network License Error

Hi All,

Hope someone can explain to me following error:

Requests from the same USER/HOST do not consume a new license

We had an other license server running before but that one crashed today:-(.

I register the license again and us it on a other license server we already had running for Autodesk Vault

Below the error:

--------
Diagnostics
--------
FLEXnet diagnostics on Fri 7/13/2012 11:57

-----------------------------------------------------
License file: C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\Vault2012\VLTWG_Invento_2012.lic
-----------------------------------------------------
"85752VLTWG_2012_0F" v1.000, vendor: adskflex
  License server: DE-S-NL0147
floating license  starts: 1-jan-1990,  no expiration date

This license can be checked out
-----------------------------------------------------
"85796PDSU_2012_0F" v1.000, vendor: adskflex
  License server: DE-S-NL0147
floating license  starts: 1-jan-1990,  no expiration date

Requests from the same USER/HOST do not consume a new license

This license can be checked out
-----------------------------------------------------

The user can't use inventor now:-(.

It means that if the same user or computer launches an additional copy of the software, it will not take another license.  Thus if you have two copies of Inventor 2013 launched, you still only use one seat.

Hi All,

I think I have to be more patient next time, Inventor works now :-)
Perhaps there is some time between before the license becomes active.

I'm still wondering what this message means:

Requests from the same USER/HOST do not consume a new license

Thanks for all your help

Michel
