Network Installation

Hi all.

Do any of you run Inventor off the network? If so, what kind of performance
issues do you have (if any)

Our reseller has recommended that we run IV off the network. I think that
it would slow us down more than we are already. Am I wrong?

Run IV off the network or run IV network licensed? The latter is the same
as having a standalone seat. It just pings the server for a license. Out
of curiosity, why did he recommend this? (ease of SP maintenance?)
