Need help in creating coating for tensile test

Hello. I need to model process of tensile test for my diploma project. I had created a specimen of metal and tested it. But the main goal is to test metal sample coated with polymer coating. I have no idea how do this. Looking for any help!!

Hi!

Model the two parts, the metal and a thin part (the polymer)

Join both in one assembly.

Test with the FEA module and ensure both parts have the face bonded.

Ok, i've build a kind of coating and joined it with specimen. But I'm not sure i had made it correctly, because test result is not quite right in my opinion. Could you check my assembly for me please?
