Move sketch horizontally

How do I slide the highlighted part toward the middle?

You can't just move it, you should make a work plane on the place where you want it. then create your sketch.

He´s right, you´re going to need a workplane.

You can also try to redefine your existing sketch to that workplane.

But i think in thiscase it´s easier to redraw the sketch in the right

position.

Kind regards

Shouldn't need any extra workplanes - attach your ipt file here.

I wanted to move it to the center so I could make an extrude cut. I realized since it's solid of course it would cut all the way through and not just little bit all the way around. The work plane hint helped.
