Mouse settings:2 button, 1 wheel, and thumb ball

Using a mouse with 2 buttons, 1 wheel and thumb ball in IV 8. The thumb ball is really slow moving the pointer across the screen. Does any one know where the settings for this in IV are. Note: In AutoCAD, and windows xp the mouse works fine.

Control Panel. Turn on the useless web browsing functions and the revert the mouse to mouse functions. You may also need to turn on Office '97 compatibility.
