Modifying Shrinkwrapped Assemblies

I am trying to add features (cuts and embosses) to a shrinkwrapped assembly, but the processing speed is TERRIBLE. I am waiting for minutes to start sketching, then waiting again to modify the feature. Is this an issue in this version of inventor? Can anyone suggest a more efficient workflow to avoid this?

On a secondary point, my emboss features are being applied both the intended surface (immediately in front of the sketch plane) and also on any surfaces behind this. Is there a way to stop this?

Hi! I have to take a look at the dataset in order to find where the problem is. Please post the files here or send them to me (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com). Regarding Emboss being applied to both sides, it might depend on where the sketch is located. If it is outside of a cylinder, it should not behave this way. Please post the file here or send it to me too.
