Mirror Machining

Inv 11 - SP 1
Pentium 4 - 3.8 GHz
2.00 GB of RAM
Windows XP Professional - SP2

I am working in a weldment in which I would like to mirror the machining to the other side of the machine using the origin as the mirror plane.

I have been able to due this but I find my machine going extremely slow. In once case it took 50 minutes to mirror 2 holes and a chamfer. If I need to make a slight change then I'm stuck waiting for at least 20 minutes if not more to do a simple command.

Is this due the fact that I mirrored machining? I didn't have this problem until I started the machining phase of my project.

Please note that I have no welds in this model due to company standards.

Also in the attachment I have the machine suppressed so I can work in the model. If I did not it would take me at least 30-45 to do a simple changes. As it right now it will take me at least 50 minutes to turn the machining back on

Hi! This behavior does not sound right. Could you send the file to me, so I
can take a look?
Thanks!
