Meusburger or Hasco fasteners with Bolted Connection?

Hi,

Is it possible to use Meusburger or Hasco connectors with the bolted connection tool?

I design a lot of moulds for clients and one of the things i am not able to do is add fasteners via the bolted connection tool from the same vendor as the remaining components in the assembly (Predominatly Hasco & Meusburger). I normally end up having to edit the BOM each time so the client can order all parts from the same vendor.

Thanks

Yes you can,

1. Just prepare your ipart ou part bolts via Author \ Component

2. Then simply publish this authored part or ipart in your read & write Content Center library \ Bolts category

3. Now you can use via Bolted Connetion tool.

Thanks, however the hasco and Meusburger fasteners are already in the CC but just not available in the bolted connection dialogue?

I have in the meantime worked around this by copying the relative ANSI fasteners and then editing the family Tables to correspond with the Hasoc/Meusburger product codes & sizes (incidentaly these only show in the BC when ANSI is deactivated in the project file).

Very clunky to be honest when the data is there but does not seem to be accesible in the bolted connection 😞
