Memory Dump

When using Inventor R6 inside Windows XP Pro on a system which has both a 256mb and a 512mb ram chip after running the system for a while i get what i call the blue screen of death....memory dump error message which causes me to reboot the system and start again.
Anyone have this problem or advice as to how to prevent it?
thanks,
Steve

I had that problem when I started using R6. I solved it by
going to Application Options / Hardware Tab and then set the graphics to
Conservative Optimization.

What video card are you using?

Might try pulling one of the chips, replacing with a known good stick and
see how it runs. Then pull the other and repeat the process. Many times
the BSoD is caused by a bad RAM stick.
