Actually I tend to use Shift-Delete and Shift-Insert whenever I can. I
know it's an extra step but I know I've captured the information. I get
really frustrated doing a Ctrl-V only to find that 12 steps ago the
Ctrl-C didn't actually do anything.

We are showing our age. I don't use Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V or Ctrl-X as I
learned the form in the early days of Windows and can hit them
in the dark from 2' away. Sort of like I can hit "*" (Shift 8) 100% of
the time but can't hit a plain 8 for the life of me.

I learned the Shift keys also but I found that when Microsoft introduced the
Ctrl keys I could do them with the left hand and keep the right on the
mouse. With the Shift keys you either need two hands or take your hand off
the mouse.

I don't mind showing my age.

I just wish I didn't feel it.

Re: Measure Tool Improvement Needed

12-10-2002 03:06 AM in reply to: *Harvey, Roger
I like being able to place dimensions on the model. As you all know
this is easily done in MDT. I would keep these dimenions on a different
layer to turn on and off as needed. Sometimes, things are just to
dependent on dialog boxes.
