measure rate of curvature on a 3d spline

is there a way to measure the rate and direction of curvature on a point of a 3d spline? and can this be inputted into parameters?

Hi Stephen,

I'm thinking you already know that you could edit a 3D sketch RMB and do Display Curvature. That gives you direction.

However you are interested at a point. I would suggest you post this question on Inventor customization group. You can find curvature at a point and for rate of curvature you might have to some calculations. Thanks.

I can put a plane on that point perpendicular to the 3d spline and measure the angle but i would like to enter this value into a parameter. this is all to do with my other thread
