Measure Distance

Is there a way to get the dual unit option to read in both feet and inches....for instance 32.75 to read 2'-8 3/4" instead of 2.729 ft?

Thanks,

Anderson

Are you talking about dimensions in a drawing?  Because "measure distance" makes me think of meaurements in a part or assembly.  If you're referring to that drawing... I just tried this with setting the Alternate Units to "ft", Linear format to Fraction Not Stacked.

This is what I got....

Pretty sure he actually does mean the measure distance command (for parts and assemblies).  You can set a dual unit there too, so it reports measurements in inches and millimeters, etc.

Unfortunately, no, there's no way to even set the primary unit to fractional, much less the secondary.  Ft-in measurements don't seem to be supported by the measure tool at all.
