Measure command wont pick faces

This just started...measure command is now only selecting component geometry (like a subassembly), I cannot get it to pick a face or an edge?

If you click the drop down box you have the option of selecting between Component Priority, Part Priority, and Face and Edge Priority.

While the measure command is active, you cannnot select these options... I rebooted Inventor and my issue went away.  We'll see how it goes...

I don't think I would reboot the software simply to change selection filters?

Have you installed all Service Packs?

Hmmmp.  I read the thread more carefully - and try to delete this response, but no longer an option?
