material type

in the middle of building a stake press machine for a company and we just
got the specs on the rivet we will be staking... SAE J403, GRADE 1010, CDS
Does inventor have a comparable metal already in it?? can anyone enlighten
me on this material... tensile strength and such or where i can find this
info, I'm trying to size up a cyl to stake it... i know i've seen people
refer to diff websites with this info, but i can't seem to find them now...

I'm guessing that it's a AISI 1010 steel, but I might be wrong. Look at
www.matweb.com for material properties.

thats the site i was looking for... thanks Joe .. now i've just got to find
the right formula for calculating how much pressure i need to stake my
rivet...(-:
