material appearance doesn't match

I've got two parts and they are both assigned to the stock "Aluminum 6061" with an appearance of "Aluminum - Flat" and they look different. I've tried clearing the appearance and it says there is no override to clear.

What am I missing? I'm new to Inventor and am a bit lost.
